Try This Parkinson’s Foot Exercise To Reduce Toe Curling and Cramping

Don’t take your feet and ankles for granted. They carry your weight and guide your alignment with every step, affecting how your ankles, knees, hips, and spine move together.

With Parkinson’s, feet and toes may cramp, curl, or tingle due to neuromuscular changes, tight tissue, and altered gait—impacting balance and quality of life. Treating your feet matters!

Watch this Parkinson’s foot exercise to help reduce toe curling and cramping:

Stiff feet affect the whole body. Mobilizing and stretching the toes, ankles, and the long ligament under the foot hydrates tissue, stimulates nerves, and frees the small bones. The foot even has a diaphragm-like pump that coordinates with breathing and pelvic movement—so improving foot mobility can support your entire body.
