Everyone with Parkinson’s will tell you how stiff and slow-moving they are in the morning. Why not take a few minutes to “lube” up those joints and muscles to help you get a better workout, or just make your day more enjoyable?
This is a great exercise that you can do standing or seated. If you choose the standing version, you will need a chair or counter to hold on to while you partially balance on one leg, activating your glutes and core while “lubing” up your hip joints. This is very important because the hip joint is a ball and socket joint, which can get gummed up and stiff. Doing this exercise will help you swing your leg, which will improve your gait and can prevent falls.
