Do You Have Painful Thumbs and Wrists? Use These Easy Tools To Start Exercising Without Pain

Our wrists and thumbs are susceptible to developing arthritis as we age due to the fact that we use our wrists for nearly all activities throughout the day. Over time, the cartilage between all surfaces wears away, especially in the wrist and thumb joint.

The tight, flexed fingers and palms and the rigid, stiff wrist that are common with Parkinson’s, combined with an increase in activities like word processing and scrolling on a phone, has made thumb and wrist pain even more prevalent.

If you experience wrist pain during your workouts, you’re certainly not alone. Nor do you need to avoid exercise. Exercise should not hurt your joints. There are so many ways to modify any exercise to avoid joint pain.
